The hardest part about switching to new software is moving all your historical data. You have reservations, guest details, and pricing rules stuck in an old spreadsheet or another costly PMS.

Step 1: Export Your Existing Data
Your goal is to get your guest names, check-in/out dates, and property name into a clean, simple CSV file.
- From a Spreadsheet: Simply save your file as CSV (Comma Separated Values).
- From Another PMS: Look for the “Export Data” or “Export Bookings” option.
Step 2: Use Hoteliera’s Simple Import Tool
- Upload: In Hoteliera’s Bookings/Reservations section, find the “Import” tool.
- Map the Data: Hoteliera will ask you to match the columns in your CSV file (e.g., “Guest Name,” “Arrival Date”) to the correct fields in the PMS. This prevents errors.
- Validate and Import: The system performs a final check for conflicts (e.g., overlapping dates). Once the data is clean, click “Import.”
